To put the measure on ballot we need to:
File Notice of Intent to Circulate Petition with San Francisco Department of Elections. Done.
Obtain the City Attorney’s Ballot Title & Summary. Done.
Publish the Notice of Intent to Circulate Petition and the City Attorney’s Ballot Title & Summary in a newspaper. Done.
Create the INITIATIVE MEASURE TO BE SUBMITTED DIRECTLY TO THE VOTERS petition form for signature collection. Done.
Collect at least 8,979 valid signatures of registered San Francisco voters. To allow for errors it is estimated that we would need approximately 15,000 signatures. The signatures must be submitted to the San Francisco Department of Elections within 180 days from the date of receipt of the City Attorney’s Ballot Title & Summary.
WE ARE NOW COLLECTING SIGNATURES.
The signatures must be pen-on-paper.
